Overview

Roboception's 3D stereo vision solutions consist of advanced 3D stereo sensors such as the rc_visard and the rc_viscore as well as a number of application-specific software modules from the rc_reason software suite. "Eyes and brains for robots" are combined in this system to create an extremely user-friendly solution that makes integration very easy for non-vision experts. While the rc_visard convinces as an intelligent camera with extensive onboard computing capacity, the rc_viscore with 12 megapixel resolution delivers impressively sharp images especially for kitting applications, machine tending or bin picking. Coupled with the detection software rc_reason CADMatch, which uses the CAD model of an item and a sophisticated mix of AI and classical algorithms to identify grasp points, users have a next-generation vision solution at their disposal.
