Zimmer Group HRC-03 (digital)

Overview

The HRC-03 is an electric 2-jaw parallel gripper for human-robot collaboration (HRC), which has a maximum stroke of 20 mm and can be connected directly to the Yaskawa robot flange ("plug&work"). The gripper is equipped with two digital sensors for component recognition. In addition, the gripping force of the HRC gripper can be manually adjusted in four steps- from 50 N to 190 N. The HRC-03 has no sharp edges and is designed in such a way that, with its rounded shape on all sides, accidental snagging is practically impossible. This functionality, combined with mechanical self-locking of the gripping jaws and the resulting retention of gripping force, provide maximum safety in any application - even in the event of an emergency stop or power failure. All MRK grippers from the Zimmer Group meet the high requirements of the protection principles according to ISO/TS 15066 (MRK standard) and are BG/DGUV certified.

The HRC-03 gripper is driven by a brushless, electronically commutated DC motor, which knows almost no wear and thus offers excellent operational reliability.
