European Engineers Conference (EEC) Summer Edition 2022

"Networking brings all Yaskawa country organisations forward"!

The organising team had put together an exciting 2-day digital programme for the European Engineering Network with a lot of team spirit and perseverance: the technical content part of the conference started on 21.09.2022.

The Engineering Solutions & Support (ESS) department, which is responsible for the event, attaches great importance to the regular exchange of applications and experiences. Thus, 15 speakers presented papers from German-speaking countries as well as Turkey, Spain, Israel and Benelux. 

The focus was on the success stories and problem cases of the various Yaskawa country organisations  that support our customers on site every day. Highlights included Yaskawa Turkey's window frame welding machine, Yaskawa Iberica's synchronous crane application, Yaskawa Italy's spot welding arm and Yaskawa Benelux's submarine robot.

In addition, general solutions developed at the headquarters in Eschborn (such as a MotionWorks IEC function module for gateway mode on frequency converters) as well as application instructions or training for our DMC products and related technologies such as EtherCAT and OPC-UA communication were presented. 

"Networking is important and fun", "I take away a lot of new things", "A conference with interesting topics and exciting applications" - this was the feedback from the almost 50 participants.

With a lot of optimism, the engineering network is going into the next months and dedicates itself to upcoming projects and activities. Next year, the EEC will finally take place in the new DMC headquarters in Hattersheim. We are looking forward to welcoming all engineers from the European Yaskawa constellation!
