Yaskawa at Automatica 2025
Under the trade fair motto “Redefining Adaptive Robotic Automation” intelligent robotics solutions can be experienced in practical use at Yaskawa. They demonstrate the wide-ranging potential of AI in automation. Such approaches can be found in established industries such as industrial sheet metal processing or in warehousing and intralogistics, but also in hitherto hardly automated application fields, for example in large-scale catering.
New MOTOMAN NEXT product concept
Yaskawa is now supporting the implementation of these AI robotics solutions with a new product concept, MOTOMAN NEXT, which will be making its debut at Automatica. The product range includes components from Yaskawa and partners. Third-party systems can also be integrated. MOTOMAN NEXT enables a consistently simple implementation and makes it easier for companies of all sizes to get started with AI-based automation.
Comprehensive solutions with i³ Mechatronics
The new portfolio for intelligent robotics solutions is integrated into Yaskawa’s i³ mechatronics concept. With comprehensive automation, drive, control and robotics solutions, it offers practical, scalable answers to the challenges of Industry 4.0. In doing so, Yaskawa uses synergies as a global technology supplier for both robotics and drive and control technology.
At the Automatica stand, a demo handling cell illustrates the interaction of numerous Yaskawa components and systems in skill-based industrial processes. In addition to the new iCube Control platform, the new Sigma-X servo system is also used in the i³ Mechatronics total solution.
Industrial robots and cobots
Last but not least, Yaskawa will be exhibiting current industrial robots and cobots from its existing portfolio. The versatile 6-axis handling robots of the Motoman GP series now cater for loads between 4 and 600 kg. Cobots are constantly conquering new areas of application, in welding and palletizing as well as in the life sciences industry.
Yaskawa’s intelligent robotics solutions in concrete practical use are the subject of discussion at Automatica, e.g. (from above) cobot palletizing with the HC series, in the life sciences industry with the hygienic Motoman HD series or in intralogistics with the versatile Motoman GP robots
