Yaskawa supports the Bärenherz Foundation

It is already almost a tradition that Yaskawa Europe GmbH supports a charitable organization with a donation with its Christmas campaign, as in previous years. This year, the Bärenherz Foundation from Wiesbaden, which supports seriously ill children, is pleased about the donation.

"It is very important to us to continue to place social commitment at the forefront. At our company, this is enshrined in our corporate vision and is a key pillar of our work," explained Bruno Schnekenburger, CEO of Yaskawa Europe, in this context. "With our commitment this year, we want to underline that only humanity, cohesion and support, especially in our immediate neighborhood, will take us further," added Anne Beermann, HR Director at Yaskawa.

Help for seriously ill children and their families

The donation of 5,000 euros will support the Wiesbaden-based Bärenherz Foundation and its children's hospices, which provide support for families with children who are terminally ill.

A team of 160 full-time and volunteer employees is committed to the Bärenherz children's hospice. The foundation also attaches great importance to providing information about children's hospice work and the important services it offers for seriously ill children and their families. In the sponsored children's hospices in Wiesbaden and Markkleeberg near Leipzig, parents are given relief and advice. Here, seriously ill children receive qualified care and loving attention, from diagnosis to the death of the child and beyond. The Nesthäkchen children's home in Hünstetten-Görsroth, Hesse, is a permanent care facility for 22 seriously ill and disabled children and adolescents. There is also an emergency place there. The foundation's grants make it possible to fulfill the children's wishes in addition to providing an expanded range of therapies.
