24.02.2023 - Product Phase Out Announcement of A1000, V1000, J1000
1. Life cycle phase change information
This product announcement is related to product life cycle management. Yaskawa Europe announces that life cycle status of AC Drives series A1000, V1000 and J1000; hereafter the product, will be changed to phased out starting from 1st of March 2023.
From 1st of March 2023, the product is planned to remain available for limited time of 12 months. Life cycle status will change to discontinued on 1st of March 2024.
2. Models to discontinue
Following models will be phased out:
- A1000 AC Drives with model code CIMR-ACxxxxxxxxx-xxxx
- V1000 AC Drives with model code CIMR-VCxxxxxxxxx-xxxx
- J1000 AC Drives with model code CIMR-JCxxxxxxxxx
3. Sales materials
Sales materials will not be longer printed
4. Handling of existing orders
“Last Buy” orders and all confirmed orders until 29th of February 2024 will be continued.
From March 2024, no more new orders will be accepted.
5. Alternative products
The Yaskawa AC Drives series A1000, V10000 and J1000 will be replaced by the latest generation AC Drives series GA700 and GA500.

6. General information and support availability
During the phase out time Yaskawa cannot guarantee full product support, such as replacement possibilities, due to limited component availability.
Note that manufactures supplying components which are necessary for replacement or repair may discontinue production prior to Yaskawa phase out of spare parts supply or repair timeline.
