Complete torch cleaning system with calibration as an option
Overview
The Yaskawa “TCS-D torch cleaning system" is a complete service station for cleaning the welding torch. It is designed to work together with a MOTOMAN industrial robot, and all its functions are controlled by the robot controller.
TCS-D can be attached to the foundation of the robot, a positioner or gantry. In its simplest design the cleaning system consists of an oil ejector unit and mechanical torch cleaner. However, for more advanced requirements a wire cutter and the calibration unit can be included as well.
Cleaning cycle:
- Mechanical cleaning of the gas nozzle and contact tip.
- Air blast (into the torch cleaner reservoir).
- Oil spraying from the ejector unit.
- Wire cutting.
- Inspection and calibration with MotoTAC or Q-Set.
